Apparently, there was a road accident and FK made sure he was there to help out people as much as possible. The incident was narrated by Alee Sulehri on People of Pakistan and we could not be more in awe of the actor.

Suddenly a Porsche Panamera stopped on roadside and there stepped out Fawad Afzal Khan out of it!

He came and asked about the 3 year old and then with a piece of cloth he covered a female patient.

He offered to take that elderly female to hospital in his car because her ribs were most probably broken but in the mean time ambulance came!

In such scorching heat he was all in hands to help anyway he could and this thing made me like him even more and got him a fan for life!

Our talented young lady signed her 3rd movie, Punjab Nahi Jaoongi in late 2016- early 2017. The film stars Mehwish Hayat, Humayun Saeed and Urwa Hocane in lead roles. The film is about a spicy love triangle between the 3 characters with lots of emotions and sentiments.

After her killer performance in Na Maloom Afraad, Hocane was bound to be a part of the sequel. She will be playing the role of a young girl named “Naina”. The movie is being shot in Cape Town. The rest of the details are top-secret!

Mrs. Saeed will be seen alongside Ali Azmat in this movie. The rom-com is directed by Shahid Shafaat and stars Bilal Ashraf, Nausheen Shah and Salim Meraj aswell. Urwa was rumored to have been offered a role in a Bollywood movie but declined it for Lollywood movie Jhol as she believed it was better.

Reckitt Benckiser Announces ‘Hoga Saaf Pakistan’ Campaign

53, 000 children die of diarrhoea in Pakistan every year which means 145 kids are losing their lives from a disease that should not take even a single life. These are not just numbers but a daunting reality.

Pakistan is a rapidly growing nation, racing towards economic and social development. However, even in the year 2017, there are 25 million people who do not have access to proper toilets.

Nearly half of the households do not have a facility to wash their hands with soap and water. These sad realities lead to severe unhygienic conditions promoting various diseases which include the menace of diarrhoea, a disease which can easily be prevented.

On Saturday, April 29^th, 2017 – Reckitt Benckiser (RB) and a Private Channel announced their partnership on a national initiative “Hoga Saaf Pakistan” a pledge for a healthier, cleaner Pakistan.

The announcement was made at the 5^th Hum Awards 2017 at the Lahore Expo Centre. The CEOs of both companies, Shahzeb Mahmood of Reckitt Benckiser and Duraid Qureshi exchanged dialogues on the big stage where they mentioned the dire need of coming together as a nation and improving the unclean and unhygienic conditions that give birth to diseases such as diarrhoea.

PIA Female Employee Attacks ASF Officer at Karachi Airport!

After the Islamabad airport fiasco, another airport fight occurred at the Karachi airport when a female employee of the Pakistan International Airline tried to slap an Airport Security Force (ASF) after he stopped her from entering the departure lounge.

The woman was identified as Ruqaiyyah Soomro and is working at PIA as an Assistant manager. Soomro has stated that the officer in plain clothes harassed her and that is why she tried to slap him. The national carrier PIA has already begun investigating into the matter. Controversies seem to have engulfed the airline, first with the sleeping pilot, then the cockpit scandal and now an employee being harassed.

As always there are two sides to every story and the ASF official says PIA’s female employee had an expired working card and her officer was situated on the third floor of Jinnah Terminal. However, the ASF official accepted that the way the the woman was stopped was inappropriate. While it was also reported to have attacked others that tried to solve the issue.

Sanam Saeed’s Mother Passed Away

Pakistani actress, Sanam Saeed, lost her mother, Parween Mody Saeed, early Monday morning on 8th May 2017. She was reportedly battling cancer for the past couple of months.

Immediate family surrounded Mrs Saeed, the family then decided to honour her last wishes.

The ‘Zindagi Gulzar Hai’ starlet posted a picture on Instagram with the caption “Ma 1954-2017” with a collage of her mother’s pictures.

To my Dearest Chachi One only feels something is missing when someone passes away. We tend to take things for granted when people are alive and well, and with us at our disposal. Our very own Parween Mody Saeed, wife and Mother of 03, Chachi, Phuppo, Mumaani and a lot more to numerous people left us this early Monday morn. I was privileged to have spent whatever time I had with her, in her illness and in health. A larger than life character who always spoke her mind and never for once minced her words. In this hypocritical world, she stood a world apart. To the bravest woman, I’ve known, gone but never shall be forgotten. May Allah SWT bless her soul as she touched so many on this earthly abode. Allah Hafiz Chachi.

Ehtram-e-Ramazan Bill: 3 Month Jail for Smoking & Eating During the Holy Month

In 16th January 2017, Senator Tanveer Khan introduced the Ehtram-e-Ramazan amendment bill 2017 and referred to the Senate Standing Committee on Religious Affairs. It now has been unanimously adopted with the following restrictions:

For Hotel Owners

According to Ehtram-e-Ramazan Bill 2017, hotel owners who do not abide the Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance, 1981 will be fined up to Rs25,000

Punishment for Smoking & Eating

Citizens caught openly smoking or eating during Ramazan will be fined Rs500. They will also be facing 3-month imprisonment.

For TV Channels & Cinema Houses

TV channels or cinema houses that will be caught violating the law will be fined Rs500,000 or more.

Senator Tanveer has declared that strict action will be taken against people who violate the law during Ramazan.

Budget 2017-2018: Government Employees Pay Increase Upto 15%

The Federal Budget for 2017-2018 is now in its final stages which promise better opportunities are coming for employees of the Federal Government. It has been reported that an increase of 15% in wages is expected as per the suitability of terms and conditions of the IMF.

The proposed increase in salaries and pensions will also add an additional expense of about 50 billion rupees.

According to media reports, there has also been a withdrawal of some reliefs in taxes as per the instructions by the International Monetary Funds, however, new taxes of almost PKR. 350 Billion will also be imposed after the directions given by the IMF.

This year will see business people be included in the tax net after the tax immunity scheme imposed by the government failed.

The final percentage of increase in wages has not yet been decided by the Ministry of Finance.

Iqrar Ul Hassan Reveals Why He is Being Blackmailed! [Watch Video]

Renown personality, Iqrar Ul Hassan who runs the popular Sar-e-Aam program on Pakistani channel ARY News was recently a victim of blackmail by an unidentified person.

Instead of trying to hush it away, the Sar-e-Aam star decided to bring the issue to public notice himself. The blackmailer had a video of Iqrar and was threatening to post it on social media after portraying it in a different light if the journalist does not leave his show.

Iqrar explains the entire video saying it was made by his friends for fun in Lahore and is now being used to tarnish his reputation by painting it as an incident that happened in a hotel room in Dubai.

We Pakistanis are a very emotional group of people. We are expressive and like to make our opinions clear. As a result emotional stories resonate more with us. The bond between fathers and daughters are unlike any other. Rooh Afza made use of that. They created a heartwarming concept of a father missing his daughter, and sending her an object that was attached to a number of memories for them both.

2) Advertising done right.

The thing most brands today do not realize is that their brand identity and the message they want to relay to the audience should connect. Using a dance routine to sell flavoured milk makes little if any sense. This ad, on the other hand, has done its homework. Rooh Afza is a local favourite in most households. Many kids are given it mixed in milk for breakfast. People use it as a refresher after a long day at work. It is an absolute must have at aftar tables. In short, it is a drink families sit down and drink together. Rooh Afza knows its audience and with this ad they rightfully targeted them.

3) Viral factor with mostly positive reviews.

Thanks to the power of social media, it takes very little for something to go viral. However, when something goes viral, it can be both for wrong and right reasons. Rooh Afzas new TVC has started a conversation that is all positive. A quick look at the reactions posted on social media showed that people have been praising their efforts. Many used this opportunity to share their own stories. Some even said it reminded them of their own childhood. This is what advertising is all about! The ad was not something out of the ordinary. People related to it.

4) The right balance between product placement and storytelling.
