Dr. Nasir Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Dawood made an official visit to Pakistan for two days. The purpose of his visit was to solidify an agreement that will pave the way for the “Road to Makkah” project.

During his stay, the esteemed Saudi official will not only officiate the signing ceremony but also attend crucial meetings with popular figures, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir, and the federal minister for narcotics control, among others. Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah welcomed Dr. Al-Dawood upon his arrival at the Nur Khan Airbase and extended a warm reception to him while emphasizing the significance of this transformative project.

Notably, this year alone, approximately 40,000 pilgrims will start on their spiritual journey from Islamabad airport under the program of the “Road to Makkah” initiative. By completing all immigration requirements at the Islamabad Airport, this project will save pilgrims precious time upon their arrival in the Kingdom, as they will have already completed immigration procedures at their point of departure.
