The sudden rise in Indo-Pak tension due to occupied Kashmir has triggered many a changes in the relations between India and Pakistan.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting launched a national slogan on Thursday ‘Say No to India’ according to which all cultural exchanges with India shall be banned.
Here’s what Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting had to say about it:
“All kinds of Indian content have been stopped and Pemra [Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority] has been directed to step up its vigilance in this regard along with actions against the sale of Indian DTH instruments,”
Here is exactly what Firdous Ashiq Awan tweeted:
NO INDIAN CINEMA WILL BE SCREENED IN ANY PAKISTANI CINEMA. DRAMA, FILMS AND INDIAN CONTENT OF THIS KIND WILL BE COMPLETELY BANNED IN PAKISTAN.
However, the good news is that Pakistani movies will have the chance to attract a larger number of audience after the ban.
