Pakistan Launches 'Pak Hajj 2025' App to Assist Pilgrims

The Ministry of Religious Affairs launched the “Pak Hajj 2025,” a mobile application that aims to provide thorough support and guidance to Pakistani pilgrims preparing for the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage. Available for both iPhone and Android users, the app has several features intended to improve the experience of pilgrims on the sacred trip to Makkah and Madinah.

Successful Use in the Previous Year

The app was used successfully last year, helping hundreds of pilgrims. Therefore, it is also expected to be an important tool in 2025.

“The Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced the Pak Hajj mobile app to enhance awareness among Hajj pilgrims,” stated the ministry in an official announcement, “Applicants will be kept informed at every step through the app.”

Key Features of the Pak-Hajj App

Access to detailed Hajj training schedules, with information on dates, times, and locations of training sessions are some of the useful features of the app. Pilgrims can also view their flight details: including flight numbers, departure cities, and schedules for both departure and return.

The app provides navigational help in addition to maps of important locations and routes in Makkah and Madinah are also available. Through the app, the users can navigate easily through crowded areas.

Saudi Arabia has assigned Pakistan a quota of 179,210 pilgrims for Hajj 2025. To make the application procedure easier, 15 designated Pakistani banks have started collecting applications from intending pilgrims as of Monday.
