India’s matches in the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy will be hosted in the UAE. The decision was confirmed after PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi met with Sheikh Nahyan Al Mubarak, a senior UAE minister and head of the Emirates Cricket Board, in Pakistan. Amir Mir, the PCB spokesperson, stated, “The PCB has picked the UAE as a neutral venue for the Champions Trophy.”

Indiaโs first league match is set for February 20 against Bangladesh, followed by the much-anticipated clash with Pakistan on February 23, which falls on a Sunday. The final group match for India will be played against New Zealand on March 2. All these games are expected to take place in Dubai.
The tournament groups include Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, and New Zealand in Group A, while Group B consists of Afghanistan, Australia, England and South Africa. Pakistan, the defending champions, will begin their campaign on February 19 against New Zealand in Karachi, with their last league match against Bangladesh scheduled for February 27 in Rawalpindi.
Semi-finals will be held on March 4 and 5, with the final slated for March 9 in Lahore. However, if India qualifies for the final, the game will be moved to the UAE. This hybrid model also extends to other ICC events hosted by India till 2027, including the 2025 Womenโs ODI World Cup and the 2026 Menโs T20 World Cup, which India will co-host with Sri Lanka.
