September was a pretty bad month for a lot of celebrities. From Mahira Khan to Momina Mustehsan, Imad Wasim to Amir Khan and Faryal Fakhdoom, an aggressive troll attack was launched on all of the stars.
Of course, we can not forget the popular Pakistani American preacher, Nouman Ali Khan who became subjected to extreme mockery after being accused of having inappropriate relations with his female followers.
A spree of screenshots, showing alleged conversations between Khan and various women, made their way on social media!
Apparently, one of the messages ‘Make Dua My Hot Fantasy’ raised many eyebrows and the scandal became the talk of the town!

Meme makers had a field day, all cause of the cheesy one-liner.
While all the messages seem fake, the pick-up line was surely cringe-level 101!
ive been alive for 25 yrs & seen/heard some gross shit but "make dua my hot fantasy" definitely turns my stomach in an unprecedented way

But a popular fashion brand, Fifth Avenue went overboard with the whole defamation and took a distasteful dig at Nouman Ali Khan.
The brand apparently thought to blatantly cash in on the whole controversy and rolled out a tee with the infamous punch line.
The shirt is receiving overwhelmingly negative reviews on social media!
As usual, it was a case of marketing gone wrong!
This insensitive stunt irked many followers of Nouman Ali Khan, who were supporting him and believed that this was all to slander him!
This is not the first time Fifth Avenue has put a toe out of line. Earlier, they even took a jibe at Imran Khan and Gulalai’s controversy, inviting the wrath of the public upon themselves.
It is about time brands realize that with great power, comes great responsibility. They should know that not all of their bold moves will be welcomed and some might hurt the sentiments of many.
The case of Nouman Ali Khan itself was a very touchee issue to joke about! Little do we know that if the allegations against him are true or not. His whole career and religious work of years are now in jeopardy.
The moral of the story is that brands need to work on smarter ways to elicit laughter rather than deliberately insulting someone.
