Umair is the first Pakistani to grab an Emmy Award in post produce graphics category and is ecstatic over his achievement.

Here’s what he told Brandsynario about his massive feat:

“I am honored toย become the first Pakistani graphic artist to have won anย Emmy award in post produce graphics category(along with myย colleagues).

I feel that this achievement as a Pakistani will put our talent on the map in the graphics industry. We have such great talent in our country but lack the means to display it. I strongly believe that our talent needs to be recognized and celebrated internationally.”

โ€œEvery day, the sports broadcasting industry brings the American public
some of the most exciting, skillful, and entertaining television anywhere,โ€
said Terry Oโ€™Reilly, Chairman, NATAS.

โ€œIn addition to celebrating the outstanding work by this eveningโ€™s nominees, we are pleased to honor Dick Vitale for his long and prolific career and present him with our Lifetime Achievement Award for Sports.โ€

Presenters at the 40th Sports Emmy Awards included Andrea Kremer and Hannah Storm (Amazon), Ian Eagle and Bill Raferty (CBS Sports), Scott Van Pelt (ESPN), Alex Rodriguez and Michael Strahan (FOX Sports), Jon Frankel (HBO), Brian Kenny and Ken Rosenthal (MLB Network), Mike Tirico (NBC), Kay Adams (NFL Network), Deontay Wilder (SHOWTIME), and Ernie Johnson (Turner).
