Taj Mahal - Pakistani Restaurant

Turns out Pakistanis aren’t just saving lives here in Pakistan, but are doing so all around the world. In recent news, it’s being done in France! During the Olympics 2024, a Pakistani restaurant rescued Indian shooters from starving hunger.

Good food equals a good mood, and the Indian shooters in Chateauroux, France, discovered just that at a Pakistani restaurant. Staying in the Games Village, they found the Indian food bland and the vegetarian options scarce. When they realized the same serving container was used for chicken and beef portions, they knew they needed an alternative.

“I only eat vegetarian food on Saturdays, and they don’t serve that in the Village. Everything is so bland, so we found this restaurant, and it serves good food,” Prithviraj told The Tribune. That does not seem like the European dream. The truth is, we desis need a taste of our food. We can honestly only last a couple of days without it. So when in the land of bland food choices, it only made sense that the Indian team resorted to a local Pakistani restaurant, after all, we do it best.
