Naseer Soomro, Pakistan’s tallest man, passed away in Shikarpur after a long illness at 55. His funeral prayers will be offered in Shikarpur on Tuesday (today).
According to media reports, he was 7 feet 9 inches tall, making him one of the tallest people in the world. He was at least three feet taller than ordinary people. His extraordinary height earned him national and international recognition, bringing fame to Pakistan on a global stage.

In recognition of his unique status, the government offered him a job with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). His height made him a well-known figure both in Pakistan and abroad. Many people admired him for his remarkable appearance and contributions to the country’s reputation.
Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah expressed deep sorrow over Naseer Soomro’s passing. He extended his condolences to the family and prayed for the departed soul.
