The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially inducted four cricketing legends into its prestigious Hall of Fame for 2024. Legends Among Legends

These four greats now stand alongside the likes of Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, and Waqar Younis. Their induction was the result of an independent and transparent voting process, involving cricketing legends Wasim Akram and Zaheer Abbas, former players Azhar Ali and Bismah Maroof, and esteemed journalists and analysts.

Mushtaq Mohammad: A Trailblazer

Mushtaq Mohammadโ€™s illustrious career spanned from 1959 to 1979. He not only led Pakistan to its first Test victory in Australia in 1977 but also coached the team to the 1999 World Cup final. A pioneer in Pakistan cricket, his contributions extend far beyond his playing days.

Elegant and consistent, Saeed Anwar represented Pakistan from 1989 to 2003. With 31 centuries and 68 half-centuries, he remains one of Pakistanโ€™s most prolific batsmen. His performances in World Cups and his graceful batting style earned him a special place in the hearts of fans.

The PCB will formally present commemorative caps and specially designed plaques to these legends later this year. This honor not only celebrates their illustrious careers but also immortalizes their contributions to Pakistan cricket.
