Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has unveiled the Shuhada Package, aimed at providing support to the families of federal government officials who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty. This initiative, announced during the PM’s visit to the family of the late Customs Inspector Syed Hasnain Ali Tirmizi, underscores the government’s commitment to honoring and assisting the families of martyred personnel.
Prime Minister’s Personal Gesture
During his visit, PM Sharif personally presented a cheque under the Shuhada Package to the family of Inspector Tirmizi, who tragically lost his life in a recent firing incident in Dera Ismail Khan. Under this scheme, the families of martyred personnel will receive substantial financial support, with allowances tailored to their ranks and roles. PM Sharif emphasized that this package is not exclusive to customs officials but also extends to civilian employees, police personnel, and law enforcement agencies, demonstrating the government’s commitment to honoring all who make the ultimate sacrifice in service to the nation.
