Pakistan’s PM Imran Khan is making tremendous efforts to uplift the youth of the nation and is rolling out a new initiative called ‘Prime Minister’s Startup Pakistan Program’ for Youth of all universities.
Under the startup programme, Technical & Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutes in the country will also be established to boost the entrepreneurial industry.
The platform will assist one million youngsters to launch as many as 10,000 ventures. It will provide training in high-end technologies and traditional crafts to students.
According to Special Assistant to PM Youth Affairs Usman Dar:
We are also launching National Employment Exchange Program that will be a technology-based platform for bringing the unemployed youth in contact with the employers & that will enable integration and alignment of demand and supply to join the employment sector into an interactive system for easy access to employment opportunities, placement, facilitation, and monitoring”
Furthermore, an official told Associated Press Pakistan (APP):
“The students of universities will be given technical and vocational training in seven emerging technologies through incubation initiative which will also in reaching global forums to exploit their talent and expertise”
