The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10 is here, and it’s celebrating a decade of thrilling cricket in grand style! This year, PSL isn’t just about the on-field action—it’s bringing fans closer to the game with the first-ever trophy tour in the league’s history.
A Trophy Unveiling Like Never Before!
The PSL 10 trophy, named “Luminara”, was unveiled in an epic underwater reveal off the coast of Karachi. A professional diver, with the help of the Pakistan Navy, retrieved a treasure chest containing the silverware.
The moment was nothing short of cinematic, showcasing the league’s commitment to making this season extra special. The event featured big names from the cricketing world, including Sarfaraz Ahmed, Rumman Raees, and PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, along with franchise representatives.
So, what does “Luminara” mean? The name comes from Latin—“luminare” (torch) and “lumens” (light). Fitting for a trophy that symbolizes passion, energy, and the undying love of cricket fans across Pakistan!
The First-Ever PSL Trophy Tour
For the first time in PSL history, the trophy will travel across 11 cities, giving fans a chance to witness the silverware up close! From bustling urban centers to historic landmarks, the Luminara Trophy Tour will celebrate Pakistan’s culture, diversity, and cricket craze.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer summed it up perfectly: “This tour is a tribute to the fans who have made PSL one of the best leagues in the world. Their passion fuels our players, and we want to bring the trophy closer to them.”
