Diriliş: Ertuğrul took over Pakistan by a storm ever since PM Imran Khan recommended it to the public, and it started airing on PTV. Dubbed in Urdu, it became easily consumable for the masses, and for historical and religious similarities, people became attached to the series.
Pakistani fandom of Diriliş: Ertuğrul
This attachment was so strong that the actress playing the female protagonist Esra Bilgic aka Halima, was hired by many Pakistani brands to be their ambassador. While this was good news for the fans of not only Diriliş: Ertuğrul but the Pakistanis who are Turkish drama fans, another great news awaits them.
Faisal Javed said:
“Pakistan Television to telecast new episodes of Ertugral daily at 7:45 PM throughout Ramazan. Ertugral series is a great exhibition of culture & Islamic faith – an amazing journey through phenomenal Turkish history.”

Senator Faisal Javed took to Twitter announcing that Ertugrul fans can follow the drama throughout Ramadan. It will be all-new episodes, and they will air on none other than Pakistan Television Network (PTV).
More good news
Getting to watch this show is certainly a positive change from having to watch evil in-law stories. That said, not all Pakistani content is about that, and this is clear from the fact that Turkey also loves Pakistani content. In fact, one of the Pakistani productions will be dubbed in the Turkish language soon and aired on their channels.
Another great news coming soon as a Pakistani production will be dubbed in Turkish and aired in Turkey as part of bilateral exchange of knowledge, ideas, talent & content between Pakistani & Turkish entertainment industries.

After Diriliş: Ertuğrul, Pakistan will also be dubbing its sequel, Kuruluş: Osman and that too will be aired locally.
The journey for Turkish television that began a few years back with Asi and Ishq e Mamnoon has led to the craze for Ertugrul. And hopefully, with more Turkish content coming in, Pakistan’s own content will evolve as well.
As a result, people who are sick and tired of cliched Pakistani content might also return to watching Pakistani productions.
