Public holidays in Pakistan 2019 have been announced by the federal government, with the notice announcing as many as 14 public holidays for the year.
It is no secret that public holidays in Pakistan are a pure source of joy for everyone. The longest holidays of the year are the ones designated to Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha.
Below is the calendar of the public holidays in Pakistan 2019
Religious festivals like Eid are celebrated according to the Islamic calendar whereas other national holidays like Kashmir Day, international labor day, Pakistan day and Quaid-i-Azam Day are celebrated according to the Gregorian calendar.
Long Weekends in 2019
Seems like there will be two long weekends in 2019.
Pakistanis will enjoy a long break during Eid-ul-Fitr holidays, kickstarting from June 5, 2019, Wednesday and continuing till the weekend.
Eid-ul-Azha holidays will also bring a 5 day off for us, beginning from Saturday and ending on 14 August, Wednesday.
