An emerging artist, Shahzaman Ali Khan, with a family background of musicianship has officially joined the music industry. The powerful voice that reminds us of his great uncle’s iconic style is brought by Shahzaman who is the grandson of the revered Harmonium player Farrukh Fateh Ali Khan and grandnephew to the late Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Shahzaman’s first encounter with fame was when he composed an Original Soundtrack (OST) for a new TV drama Bismil which features Hareem Farooq and Nauman Ijaz.

Shahzaman shared his excitement on Instagram at being given this opportunity, writing, “Finally Bismil OST is out.” He acknowledged the crew behind this project for their dedication towards making sure that it comes alive.

The one who had stood by him all through his musical journey was his father Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Earlier this year he accompanied his father onstage in London as part of a campaign to raise awareness about Pakistan floods in 2022 during a sold-out concert performance.
