How to Stay Fit in Ramadan?

Ramadan brings with itself a variety of delicious yet extremely unhealthy foods. While pakoras and samosas are everyone’s favourite, lets not forget that staying healthy is essential too. From eating healthy in suhoor and iftar to staying hydrated, getting enough sleep and managing your activity levels, you must keep an all-rounded approach in Ramadan.

It’s More than Fasting

Ramadan is the time of the year when Muslims from all over the world come together to pray, fast and help the less fortunate. In this month, the Devil is chained and every good deed is multiplied by many folds. It is the month of forgiveness as evidenced by its three Ashras: Rehmat, Maghfirat and Nijaat.

As we enter this month soon, let’s not just fast and pray but also indulge in whatever good we can: pass a smile, feed the hungry, give charity and abstain from hurting anyone. So, let’s all get into the spirit of Ramadan for it is coming to change our lives once again.
