Rawalpindi Students to Get Nine-Day Eidul Fitr Holidays

Students in Rawalpindi will enjoy a nine days Eid ul Fitr holiday, according to a notification from the Ministry of Education. The holidays will start on 29th March and end on 5th April. Both public and private schools across the city will remain closed during this period.

The notification also confirmed that no board exams for 9th grade will take place during the Eid ul Fitr holidays. Academic activities will resume as usual from 6th April. Authorities believe this extended break will allow students to fully enjoy the festive celebrations with their families.

In addition to school holidays, the federal government has officially announced dates for Eidul Fitr holidays. The Cabinet Division issued a notification stating that government offices and businesses will remain closed from Monday, 31st March, to Wednesday, 2nd April. Regular operations will resume on 3rd April.

The extended school holidays mean students will have more time to relax before returning to their studies. Schools and colleges across the city are expected to follow this schedule strictly.
