Canadian pop star Shawn Mendes has announced plans for a headlining tour that kicks off in Europe in early 2019.
“Shawn Mendes: The Tour” will begin on March 7 and will continue through the summer, with 56 dates in North America, the UK and Europe announced so far, with more still to come.
After an opening show in Amsterdam, the tour will visit cities including Berlin, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Paris, Munich, Barcelona and Lisbon. A UK leg launches on April 6, with shows set for Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and elsewhere, wrapping up with back-to-back London shows.
From there, Mendes will head to North America, where a first show is set for June 12 in Portland, Oregon; the tour will then make its way around the US and Canada through to an August 24 performance in Brooklyn.
Tickets for the North American and European shows are going on sale this month.
The 19-year-old singer’s self-titled third studio album is set for release on May 25.
