The Sindh government has set up Bachat Bazaars across the province to provide subsidised essential items during Ramadan. Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that this initiative is part of the government’s people-friendly policy, launched specifically for middle and low-income families to combat inflation.

The top priority of the Sindh government is to provide relief to the people and these markets will offer daily essentials at lower prices to ease financial burdens. To ensure transparency and effective supervision, government officers have been deployed at each market to monitor prices and prevent profiteering, hoarding or mismanagement.
