Mahira Khan’s leaked pictures with Ranbir Kapoor created a massive social media frenzy, one that is not going to die anytime soon.
Currently, she is up and about with the promotions of her upcoming Verna. And of course, the media is more interested in her stance about her scandal with Kapoor rather than knowing about Shoaib Mansoor’s magnum opus.
But one thing is clear- the humble Humsafar haseena realizes the consequences of such a matter and even apologized to her fans in a statement.
In an interview with BBC World, Khan did not shy away from speaking further about the controversy.
“Like I have said before, you don’t feel good when you are criticized, especially when you are loved so much”
Despite the fact that the paparazzi intruded upon her personal space, Khan realizes that stars worldwide will be subjected to both hate and love from the public.
“Someone did encroach on my privacy which wasn’t correct. But then again I am a public figure. And where there will be love”

Mahira also shared her two cents about the ongoing Hollywood sexual harassment case:
“It doesn’t matter how I conduct myself, what I wear, or how I speak or where I sit, what I do, that does not allow anybody to harass me. So, I am not going to say that I have some sort of a very good conduct or a certain conduct and that’s the reason why I didn’t get harassed.
Apparently, TV anchor turned actress, Sana Bucha does not agree with Mahira Khan & took to Twitter to slam her views about harassment!
I can’t believe that Pakistani women who have the honour of apppearing on International television can be so flippant about harassment. And so incoherent. Such a put off.

Khan’s Verna is slated for a November 17th release. The social drama too will talk about the deadly plague of rape and sexual harassment that prevails in our society.
