The third season of Souq Al Freej, a flagship community initiative by Dubai Municipality, begins today, December 13th, at Al Warqa Park 3. This annual event supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and Emirati entrepreneurs by providing them with a platform to showcase and sell their products directly to the public. Aligned with Dubai’s vision of enhancing residents’ quality of life, the initiative aims to boost confidence in locally-made products while showcasing healthy competition among entrepreneurs, leading to better quality and competitive pricing.

This year’s Souq Al Freej features 30 stalls for home-based businesses and 10 food and beverage vendors, alongside workshops and entertainment, creating a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere. Running daily from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the market invites the community to enjoy Dubai’s winter weather while exploring a diverse range of offerings. Ahmed Al Zarooni, Director of Parks and Recreational Facilities, emphasized the event’s role in enriching Dubai’s economy through a culture of local production and labour.
