Sri Lanka’s National Carrier will resume its operations in Pakistan from June 1st, 2019 according to the latest reports.
The airline will operate with five weekly afternoon flights on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with arrivals in Karachi at 15:10 hours and departures from Karachi at 16:10 hours.
Owing to the closure of Pakistani airspace by the Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan after Pak-India military tension in February 2019, some of the international flights into Pakistan had been suspended.

Some restrictions with regards to the Pakistani airspace still remain. However, all restrictions are expected to be lifted to re-commence flights to Lahore, as the airline used to, earlier.
