Morning shows have become essential for every channel. They’re a big part of the entertainment industry, and anyone viral at the moment is always called over to appear on the shows. However, most of these shows have been increasingly controversial throughout the last few years. They’ve mistreated their guests by asking overly personal questions and being rude.
A horrifying example of this behavior is when the grieving father of a young girl was asked, “How did you know your daughter was raped?”
Here’s Why Morning Shows Need To Be Shut Down
More often than not, these shows prioritise what is sensational to garner views. Even if those cases are tragic and horrifying, they have victims star just for the sake of views. The aim is to attract as many viewers as possible to increase advertising revenue. As a result, topics such as domestic violence, rape, and even ghost stories are regularly discussed, often with little regard for sensitivity.

In another example, Nadia Khan overstepped boundaries when she announced Hiba Bukhari’s pregnancy that they had kept under wraps.. She pointed out some telltale signs and then began to shower the couple with congratulations.
Popular host Nida Yasir, on the other hand, is consistently overstepping boundaries and asking inappropriate questions. She faced the most backlash when she invited the parents of a deceased 5-year-old Marwah.
Given that today’s world relies heavily on social media to shape their views and opinions, it seems important to promote respect, integrity, and positivity. When promoting negative qualities, the brands associated with these shows also share the risk of ruining their image.
It seems crucial that these morning shows begin to employ ethical responsibility.
