Whatโs The Campaign About?
The campaign is about how a lot of times jokes are used to marginalize women. These jokes about beautiful women not being able to study hard are incredibly discriminatory. In addition to that, the biggest joke of all โoh sheโs a beauty with brainsโ is incredibly problematic.

What Are Some Jokes That Should Be Cancelled?
One joke that they tackle is โbeautiful girls donโt put in a lot of effort in studying because they know some fool in some corner of the world would be studying to become an engineer or doctor for them.โ Not even sure whether this joke is funny in any sense but weโll grant it that label to appease the haters!
The girls have the most absurd faces in reaction to this joke. They come up with the strongest arguments to shut down this thinking! For instance, women are also studying to become doctors and engineers. One asks, โdoes this mean I am not beautiful then?โ

Jokes are a tricky zone. If we start letting things slide in the name of jokes, we would be playing a passive role in normalizing such problematic concepts. You laugh at something once, twice, and then itโs fair game. When such jokes become the norm, we not only start marginalizing women more but also perpetuate stereotypes.
