Facemasks can be really annoying, especially when you’re not used to wearing them. They fog your glasses, make it difficult to breathe, and you just want to take them off!
COVID-19 is wildly contagious, and with flu season around the corner, you need to make sure you have plenty of masks and sanitizers to get by.
If you want the best protection, then we advise you to keep the masks on, no matter how uncomfortable you may feel. And if it’s just too much for you, we have a simple solution!
Today, we will share a viral 60-seconds facemask hack with you that will help your mask fit better. The hack will help protect you from the novel coronavirus!
It reduces the gaps on the sides or bottom, as the virus can pass through the openings. If you don’t have an N95 mask but a simple 3-ply mask, that’s fine too.

What’s the trick you ask?
Step 1 – Do A Hotdog Fold
The first step is to make both ends of the mask meet each other, which is commonly known as the hotdog fold.
Step 2- Knot The Earloops
Once your mask is folded in half, take one earloop at a time and make a knot. You need to keep the knot simple, not too complicated. Once you are done with one-side, repeat the same knot on the other side.
Step 3- Tuck In The Extra Fabric
The last step is to simply tuck in the extra mask which is now pointing outwards because of the knot. This will close the massive space that was exposing your face.

Importance Of Facemasks
The Centre for Disease Control (CDC) as well as the World Health Organization have been encouraging citizens to wear masks. CDC recommends that people wear masks in public settings and when around people who don’t live in the same household as you.
However, it is also recommended that masks should NOT be worn by children under 2 years or anyone who has trouble breathing, is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.
This is only in the case when the child or individuals are at home or in care and are avoiding outside contact. Without the mask to protect them, they are automatically more vulnerable to the Coronavirus.
We hope this viral facemask hack helps you!
