They banned him the first time around for loving a Pakistani spy and now they are banning him for teaming up with the same spy to save the world.
Yes, I am talking about Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai that has reportedly not been given an No Objection Certificate by Pakistani Censor authorities because it goes against the country’s intelligence agencies.
Tiger Zinda Hai is the second Salman Khan film to be banned in Pakistan this year after Tubelight which turned out to be a disappointment even in India. TZH also features Katrina Kaif as the Pakistani spy who teams up with Salman Khan aka Tiger to save female hostages in Iraq. Two songs from the film’s soundtrack Swag Se Swaagat and Dil Dia Gallan have been topping the charts in Pakistan; the second one being sung by the one and only Atif Aslam.
The film has been directed by Ali Abbas Zafar whose Sultan had done great at the box office last year; TZH would have been a welcome addition to the year-ending films like Arth, Rangreza and Chupan Chupai which could have benefited from the screening of the Bollywood venture.
Tiger Zinda Hai releases worldwide (except Pakistan) on December 22.
