13 Rajab marks the birth of Hazrat Ali (Blessings of Allah Be Upon Him). This year, it will fall on the 14th of January. There will be a procession to celebrate the Youm-e-wiladat of the holy personality. The procession will take place in Karachi at 4:00 PM, beginning from Ghafoor chamber, Abdullah Haroon Road concluding at Mehfil Shah Khorasan, near Numaish Chorangi.
Due to security concerns, authorities will close MA Jinnah Road, from Tibet Centre to Gurumandir Chowk, along with surrounding areas during the procession. To manage traffic and avoid disruptions, the traffic police have provided alternative routes.
Bahadur Yar Jang Road
Commuters travelling from Gurumandir to the tower should use Soldier Bazaar No.1 Signal, Coast Guard and Uncle Saria Signal routes.
Shahrah-e-Quaideen to Numaish Chowrangi MA Jinnah Road
Those travelling from Shahra-e-Quaideen to Numaish Chowrangi should use Society Light Signal and proceed via Ayesha Aziz Chowrangi to PPP Chowrangi. Commuters can also go from Society Light Signal to Khudadad Colony Bridge to Empress Market.
Fresco Chowk to Numaish Chowrangi
Those travelling from Fresco should take the Eidgah Chowk (Dilpasand) route, proceeding left via Dakkhana to Jubliee to Nishtar Road or from Tibet Centre to Regal Chowk to get to Numaish Chowrangi.

Fawara Chowk to Garden Nishtar Road
Drivers going from Fawara Chowk to Garden Nishtra Road are suggested to take the route from Paradise Signal, turning left for the Passport Office and right for Empress Market.
Aga Khan to Zainab Market (Abdullah Haroon Road)
Drivers should head from Garden Baghicha to Aga Khan Road, using Uncle Saria and Gul Plaza routes to Tibet Chowk.
The public is advised to use alternate routes, like New MA Jinnah Road (Saddar Dawakhana to PPP Chowrangi), Nishtar Road to Garden Baghicha to Lasbela and Bhadir Yar Jung Road (Guru Mandir to Soldier Bazaar No.1 Signal to Uncle Saria.)
