Social media is an interesting place to be in. Whether you’re an avid Facebook user or an Instagram scroller, it counts as social media. This can be referred to as a collection of platforms where people express themselves.
On Twitter, they express themselves using shorter sentences whereas Quora and Facebook are for long ones. If one wishes to express themselves visually, then Instagram and Snapchat are the go-to apps. As we know already, there is currently a war going on between Facebook and Apple.
Additionally, Facebook is receiving an immense amount of backlash due to its new WhatsApp update. A lot of people are shifting away from WhatsApp because of the rumours and news they are hearing. Newer apps are coming into the light. Speaking of WhatsApp, the new WhatsApp Story Updates have caused a rift on twitter! It is extremely hilarious to see people react.

A Privacy Issue:
It became quite the news when people began to see the ongoing battle. When they also saw the issues that were arising with privacy, people began to divert. WhatsApp started to be considered as an app that does not have a firm grip on privacy. There is proof that states they forward user info to other parties.
Of course, such information cannot and did not sit well with the people. Recently, a lot of people are switching over to the Signal Messaging app instead of WhatsApp. They are even considering it as an alternative to Facebook messenger. We all are already aware that Messenger has had privacy issues for quite a long while now. However, WhatsApp’s new story updates made Twitter go bezerk.

Twitter Explodes:
A lot of people are tweeting about the new WhatsApp Story Updates. There have been recent updates within the WhatsApp Story options. This is when you upload status to WhatsApp. The principle was taken from Snapchat due to it being the first in line to bring stories.
Despite everything happening, people are finding it as somewhat of a humorous topic. The Twitter platform has become the front grounds for jokes and funny tweets. Whether you’re an avid Twitter user or not, it is recommended that you check them out. Some more can be seen below!

A Most-Interesting Update:
We have yet to see how this update plays into the hands of the user. Despite the humor, we must remember that WhatsApp’s new update is nearly at our door. Maybe many of us accepted the terms without reading in detail. The writer of this article is sure that at least some of the tweets must have tickled your belly. They did seem quite funny!
We hope that online privacy issues don’t peak when it comes to more updates on WhatsApp. After all, these days, updates on that app always capture the attention of the user. They start to wonder what card Facebook has up its sleeve that it intends to play.
