The federal cabinet has approved a uniform curriculum for all educational institutes in Pakistan, including 30,000 madrassahs. This decision was made on Tuesday during a meeting.
Furthermore, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, while addressing a press conference shared that the cabinet has made the decision of uniform syllabus.

Ms Awan was accompanied by Federal Minister for Energy Umar Ayub.
The government will also monitor bank transactions and foreign funding of religious seminaries -She Added
A uniform syllabus has been of interest from the time of former president retired Gen Pervez Musharraf. Many attempts have been made to bring the religious seminaries under the ambit of the government and other institutes all across the country, but never succeeded.
Discussion on load-shedding and renewal of licenses of the cell phone companies were also discussed at the occasion.
