The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted warm and dry weather in Karachi to continue over the next 24 hours. Temperatures are expected to range between 35ยฐC and 37ยฐC, with light north-western winds continuing to blow. These winds will contribute to the dry conditions in the city.
Currently, Karachiโs humidity level stands at 52%, and no significant changes in wind speed are expected. Over the past 24 hours, the city recorded a minimum temperature of 21.7ยฐC. The weather of Karachi has remained mild during the early morning and night.
The PMD has advised residents to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses. The heat is expected to peak in the afternoon, so people should avoid direct sun exposure for extended periods.

Yesterday, the weather remained dry in most parts of the country. Hot conditions were recorded in the plains during the daytime. Morning temperatures in major cities were recorded as follows: Islamabad 11ยฐC, Lahore 20ยฐC, Karachi 24ยฐC, Peshawar 14ยฐC, Quetta 6ยฐC, Gilgit 2ยฐC, Murree 7ยฐC, and Muzaffarabad 12ยฐC.
The PMD also provided a weather update for Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). Dry conditions are expected in Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian, and Baramulla.
Morning temperatures recorded in these areas were: Srinagar and Anantnag 2ยฐC, Jammu 12ยฐC, Leh -6ยฐC, and Pulwama, Shopian, and Baramulla 1ยฐC. Residents in these regions should also prepare for continued dry weather.
In the coming days, hot condition in weather of Karachi are expected, with no significant chances of rainfall. The dry spell will likely continue, making it necessary for people to take care of themselves during the hottest hours of the day.
