WhatsApp has just launched a major feature which might have just changed the future of the social media application.
Gone are the days when your WhatsApp groups became bombarded with phishing scams, non-sensical messages, and links to viruses!
The social media giant’s new feature only allows group admins to post content, limiting the number of unwanted messages in the group.
Facebook wanted to highlight “important announcements and information, including parents and teachers at schools, community centers, and non-profit organizations” through this new feature.

How to Enable One-Way Admin Messages Feature
To enable this feature he group admins have to follow the following steps;
- Open ‘Group Info’ by tapping on the name of the group
- Tap ‘Group Settings’
- Select ‘Send Messages’
- Select ‘Only Admins’
This setting is now being rolled out to all users around the world on the latest supported versions of WhatsApp.
