WhatsApp, owned by Meta, has just introduced a fantastic new feature that makes chatting with unknown numbers way easier. No more fussing around with third-party apps or storing numbers you’ll only use once. WhatsApp has your back! We all know how annoying it is when you want to text an unknown number just once and then you have to save them, text them, and then un-save them. But now Whatsapp’s new update might’ve solved this problem.
Here’s How It Works
When you need to send a message to an unfamiliar number, simply start a fresh chat on WhatsApp. Type in the number in the search bar, and that’s it! A shiny Chat button will magically appear next to it. Now, you can dive into a conversation without the hassle of adding them to your contacts list.
Excitingly, reports from WABetaInfo confirm that this awesome feature is already available on the latest WhatsApp versions for both iPhone and Android devices. But wait, there’s more! WhatsApp is also about to release something else special that is the @username support. Once that arrives, you’ll be able to chat with new contacts on the platform without even needing their phone number. Now how cool is that?
If you’re not seeing the Chat option on your WhatsApp, don’t worry! Just head over to the Play Store and update to the latest build. Keep in mind, though, that Meta is gradually rolling out this feature on their servers, so it might take a little time to reach you if it hasn’t already. Stay patient because it is definitely totally worth the wait!
