Ushna Shahโ€™s Take on Superstitions

During their conversation, Danish Nawaz playfully asked Ushna if she believed in superstitions, like a black cat crossing your path or stepping over a stone to attract misery. Ushna claimed to be “a little superstitious,” but clarified that she does not believe in such old wives’ tales. However, she revealed an eerie yet interesting pattern in her life associated with Friday the 13th.

Ushna explained, “I don’t know why, but something bad always happens to me on Friday the 13th. Often, I don’t even realize the date until after something goes wrong, and then it hits meโ€”it’s Friday the 13th!” She added that this particular superstition is making her anxious, especially because she has an important flight scheduled on the next Friday the 13th. “I must catch this flight on time because of my shoots,” Ushna added.

A Fun Yet Reflective Conversation

The candid exchange highlighted Ushna’s relatable personality and her willingness to embrace both humour and vulnerability. Her reflections on Friday the 13th added a touch of intrigue to her otherwise practical outlook on superstitions, making the conversation all the more memorable.

More so, Ushna further added that she was approached with a Punjabi movie some time back but had to decline it due to her busy shooting schedule.
