The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman, Zaka Ashraf has offered the legendary Australian bowler, Glenn McGrath to work with Pakistan cricket team, during a prestigious gathering at Kirribilli House in Sydney. The event, hosted by Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, celebrated the camaraderie between the Pakistan and Australia cricket teams, along with their managements.

Reports surfaced in the local media indicating Zaka Ashraf’s offer to McGrath, however, the legendary pacer requested time to think about the proposal owing to his existing commitments.
The gathering also witnessed the presence of Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Australia, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri, along with officials from Cricket Australia, amplifying the significance of the occasion.
In his warm address, the Australian Prime Minister extended a gracious welcome to both teams and lauded Pakistan’s commendable performance, notably highlighting their resilience in the Melbourne Test. He appreciated the Pakistan team for their exceptional conduct throughout the tour and eagerly anticipated an exhilarating match in Sydney.

Time will tell if Pakistan cricket fans will see Glenn McGrath working with Pakistan team or not in the near future, but if he accepts the offer, it would be valueable addition to the Pakistan’ team management.
