The coronavirus pandemic has left the world in a cloud of gloom. The people working day and night to save lives against the virus are the front liners that include doctors, nurses, paramedics and other medical staff.

Due to the surge in demand for protective gear by the general public, there has been a decrease in the availability of masks, gloves and suits for the medical community who are extremely vulnerable without protection.

Celebrity couple, Iqra Aziz and Yasir Hussain have taken up a great initiative and have stitched the protective suit for the doctors at their home in order to support Pakistani designer, Asim Jofa who is already making these suits for the medical community on a larger scale.

Yasir Hussain shared a video message on his Instagram account and urged everyone to take part in this amazing opportunity to help the doctors, nurses and staff in this crucial time. Yasir mentions,

“If every household even manages to stitch one suit we will be able to help the medical staff immensely with the protection they truly need against this deadly virus!”

Fan favorites, Iqra and Yasir are spending their time in lockdown for this noble initiative and have asked every person out there with a sewing machine to do the same thing they have!

One protective suit would mean saving the life of one doctor/nurse/paramedic who in turn would save many more patients through all the hard work they put in day and night.

Local Pakistani clothing brands like Lulusar, outfitters and designer Asim Jofa have announced to work towards mass-producing these protective suits in their factories for the medical staff.
