Pakistani actress Zara Noor Abbas didn’t mince her words as she took to Instagram to express her disappointment with the recently released trailer of the highly anticipated movie inspired by the story of Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman.
Taking to Instagram with the trailer of the Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter, Zara regretted that she was initially intrigued to watch the movie until the release of the trailer yesterday.
In a surprising turn, Zara went beyond her critique of the movie itself, issuing a warning to India against any attempt to occupy Pakistan. She made a reference to the hospitality shown by Pakistani forces to Indian Air Force personnel in a past incident.
Zara’s vocal disapproval resonated with her followers, including actress Hira Khan, who joined in expressing their disappointment at what they perceived as an anti-Pakistan narrative in the movie.
Zara’s husband, Asad Siddiqui also followed suit.
In a twist of humour, many of Zara’s fans lightened the mood by poking fun at the filmmaker’s attempt, turning the discourse into a mix of criticism and satire.
As the social media storm rages on, the question remains: How did you find the trailer?
